Noting that automobiles are the number one contributors to environmental pollution

Further noting that every resident of Kirkland owns some type of personal automobile

Be it resolved that:


  1. All automobiles operating inside the Kingdom of Kirkland be required to have a minimum standard of 30 miles per gallon of gasoline
  2. All automobiles be required to be fitted with catalytic converters
  3. If possible, any change to using either ethanol, hydrogen, or electric cars shall be made

Mr Speaker,

This bill is necessary for the maintenance of our nation's environment. If we do not pass this measure then we are condemning future generations to environmental degradation. I yield the floor.
