Act Concerning the Rights of Foreign Nobles

Noting there is no legislation about the status of foreign nobles either visiting or residing in Kirkland

Be it resolved that the following be enacted into law:

A "Foreign Noble" shall be defined as any nobleman or noblewoman who has received a noble title in a nation other than Kirkland and holds no titles given by the Kirkish Sovereign.
Foreign nobles shall be entitled to being given status equal to domestic nobles in private social or state-run events (ie a party held by a Kirkish noble or State Dinners hosted by the Sovereign). This will entitle foreign nobles to be introduced with full titulary, be bowed to by those lower in status to the foreign noble, and be given full accommodation equal to their station in their native land.
Foreign nobles will not be permitted the right to vote in any Kirkish election, run for any Kirkish office, or hold any Kirkish government or ministerial position. Foreign nobles will also not be accorded diplomatic immunity and are to held responsible for any illicit actions committed on Kirkish soil.
No foreign noble, no matter their status, may ask or be entitled to be bowed to by the Sovereign of Kirkland. Foreign nobles must always bow to the Sovereign of Kirkland.

Over half the votes being in and more in the affirmative than in the negative, the motion carries. The Act Concerning the Rights of Foreign Nobles is adopted
