Noting the necessity of Parliament to establish a procedure in the event that Article 9 of the Constitution should be implemented
Be it resolved that:
- In the event of the implementation of Article 9 of the Constitution of the Grand Kingdom of Kirkland a Member of Parliament shall be appointed to the Commission.
- Said Member of Parliament shall be selected to serve on the Commission by a vote by the Members of Parliament.
- A secret ballot will be held on which will be listed every Member of Parliament.
- The Members of Parliament will be listed on said ballot in alphabetical order of their last name. In the event that two Members of Parliament have the same last name then they will be listed in alphabetical order based on their first name.
- The vote on the selection of the Commissioner will last no less than 24 hours.
- A candidate shall be selected by a plurality of the votes cast; the candidate with the most votes will be seated as a Commissioner.
