Noting that certain days are considered "holy"

Further noting that on these holy days people should be exempt from working.

Be it resolved that Christmas (25th December), Easter, New Year's Day (1st January), Thanksgiving (4th Thursday in November), Independence Day (16th February), International Labour Day (1st May), Veteran's Day (11th November), Memorial Day (Last Monday in May), The King's Birthday (11th October), Pentacost, and Remembrance Day (11th September) be considered national holidays. On these days all government offices shall be closed and people working on these days will be entitled to time and a half wages.
